implant

Implant treatment is a method in which a titanium artificial tooth root (implant) is placed in the jawbone where a tooth has been lost, and a ceramic artificial tooth is attached to it. Because titanium bonds firmly with bone, the implant serves as a foundation that supports the artificial tooth.
Implants are affected by the forces of the bite and by bacteria in the mouth. Our clinic plans treatment based on pre-operative analysis.

sterilize

Sterilize: sterilization of instruments and hygiene management

For implant surgery, we sterilize equipment and use filtration as part of hygiene management.

For implant surgery, we set aside time for the individual patient and manage hygiene, including the use of filtration in the clinical environment.

Leading a case to long-term success begins with preparing the right environment. We believe that providing a thoroughly controlled environment for our patients is extremely important.

microscope

We use a microscope to examine the treatment area under magnification. Surgery can involve bleeding, swelling and pain, and recovery time varies with the individual condition.

Environmental control

Sterilize: sterilization of instruments and hygiene management

To make implants last, we believe it is important to control the local environment around the implant. We calculate the role of each tooth, the differences in force applied during biting and the angle, and plan the placement with ease of cleaning in mind.

Allowing air to flow around the implant

Periodontal bacteria are anaerobic, so they seek out oxygen-free places deep in the periodontal pocket. We calculate the placement so that air flows around the implant.
Our clinic considers implants only when there is no other option.

I am anxious about implant surgery. Will there be a lot of bleeding?

Before surgery, we assess the gums, restorations and bite and consider any preparation needed. Risks such as bleeding cannot be eliminated completely.

What should I be careful about with implants?

Daily oral hygiene and regular follow-up are important after implant treatment. Discuss cleaning methods, smoking, alcohol use and your general health at consultation.

What precautions does the clinic take?

We sterilize instruments and manage hygiene in the treatment environment. A microbiological filter is used for the air environment.

We also limit the number of implants placed at one time to a maximum of three. Placing more than this increases risks such as heat damage to the bone and infection during coolant changes, so the overall benefit becomes smaller.
